Hi, I’m Sam Heflin.

Sam Heflin is a Certified Public Accountant with nearly two decades of experience helping organizations and individuals feel confident, informed, and supported in their financial decisions. She began her professional career in 2007 after graduating with honors from West Virginia Wesleyan College and earned her CPA designation in 2014.

She also holds an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification, allowing her to help clients streamline their bookkeeping systems, clean up messy records, and build processes that make their financial operations more efficient and less stressful.

Sam’s background is uniquely well-rounded. She started her career in public accounting, where she worked on nonprofit audits and personal tax returns. Her career then expanded into healthcare finance, where she spent five years developing a deep understanding of complex financial systems, compliance, and operational budgeting. In 2014, she transitioned into working with school systems, giving her firsthand experience with public-sector accounting, reporting, and financial stewardship.

What sets Sam apart is her approach. She is easy to talk to, never makes clients feel judged for falling behind or feeling overwhelmed, and believes that good financial guidance should be clear, practical, and human. Her goal is not just to prepare reports or file returns, but to help business owners, nonprofit leaders, and school administrators truly understand their numbers and feel empowered by them.

Sam specializes in serving small business owners, nonprofit organizations, and school systems, providing services that are accurate, dependable, and tailored to real-world needs. Her clients value her calm, supportive style and her ability to explain complex financial matters in a way that actually makes sense.

When you work with Sam, you don’t just get a CPA — you get a trusted partner who genuinely cares about your success.
